Who We Are: Deep Dive Analysis Of The 2025/6 Crossdresser Survey

A portrait of 1,600 crossdressers, across every age, identity, location and frequency.

I am closing the 2025 survey, somewhat late, and about to open the new 2026 / 2027 survey. I have already done one deep analysis of this survey, the results HERE from last year, but I thought I would share the most up to date figures, comment on them and ask YOU what you make of these statistics.

I have also pulled some of the longer answers from the survey and made into full interview posts. Please meet the Gurls of the 2025 survey in all their deliciously sexy glory!

Crossdresser Survey caveats

It’s worth remembering that my brand speaks to Crossdressers mostly. As such I suspect the data is skewed toward that group, and also toward elder millennial and GenXer’s and beyond, as I believe younger people will have grown up with greater social freedom and may identify less with Crossdressing, and more with Trans, and Gender Fluidity etc.

Lastly, I am no data analyst or scientists. I am just like you. Fascinated by our community and looking for connection, answers and meaning. As such I am certainly open to bias, so all of this commentary should be taken with a healthy does of salt! Also I am British, so English speaking countries dominate.

OK. So where are we all from?

Dominated by Western culture and skewed to older generations is something we need to keep in mind when considering these results. I am myself GenX and most of the detailed responses came from GenX’ers.

I cannot escape the feeling that older generations lean toward crossdressing and sissification (as opposed to Trans). And for our American girls, regular crossdressing means often, and not ‘average’. My bad!

What I see and experience day to day, at least in my life, is that younger generations feel more free to be gender fluid and trans. This is not exclusive by any means, but if the six in heels fit…

When I was growing up this was not socially available, and so I became a crossdresser and never even considered being trans.

Frequency is interesting, around half of us dress weekly or even daily, the rest is evenly spread over monthly, a few times a year and on rare occasion. I do wonder if the infrequent gurls have reasons that limit them, such as partners who don’t know or understand, or simply incompatible lifestyle. One question later asks the question, do you wish you could crossdress in public more and a whopping 77% said yes. It seems many of us are still in our closets to some degree.

I was closer to my mum than my dad, and I know from a very early age I wanted to be more like her. Perhaps the flipside of this is the stat that only 11% of felt closer to our fathers. That’s a significant indicator of a draw to the maternal and feminine.

It makes me feel content and grateful. It is my place in life to be a cute sissy girl. I love being locked up and dressing up.

I want to be a woman and it lets me explore that. Women clothing, styles, accessories are a lot more fun.

Voices from the survey

Here are 20 longer reflections from the survey on the question of who we are. Does this resonate?

‘I’ve been crossdressing (in private) since as long as I can remember so I’ve gone through the entire spectrum of physical, spiritual, and emotional euphoria’s and doubts. Those have lessened in height or normalized(?) over the years I suppose. Now, it just feels normal to express this incredibly important side of me. So long as I am alone or at home. I still lack the confidence to get beyond that. Everyone on their own timeline I guess.’
Michelle

‘I think women’s fashion is more exciting and interesting than men’s fashion, generally. There are more options and combinations and everyone might benefit from more experimentation. I also think all fashion is communication so your fashion says something about your character’
Celine

‘For a while growing up I linked cross dressing with a sexual fetish instead of asking myself while I liked to dress (which I have enjoyed since I was like 5 and my sister would dress me up). As I got older and I started to look on it I like the feeling of being feminine, entering that feminine mindset, feeling pretty etc. the thing is it still turns me on so I never know if I’m trans or a cross dresser and I’m 25 and freaking out it’s gonna be too late if I’m trans.’
Sophie

‘What turns me on the most is arousing and seducing big cock alpha men. Crossdressing is highly sexually arousing for me because its the best way to seduce big cock alpha men while letting them know Im not a threat by showing them my tiny girly penis’
Jasmin

‘It’s an escape from my life, I have always felt like a girl, my sisters used to dress me as a girl when I was very young (encouraged by my mother (she wanted another girl but got me)) it just felt like me.’
Nikki @Nikkileighw

‘Women/feminine clothing is so cute and comfy made from such soft fabrics. I love the feeling on my skin, I wish I could wear them more. There are so many options to explore. Plus it was a pipeline that helped me realize I am a transwoman.’
Bailey

‘It makes me feel like who I am. I wear girls jeans and T-shirts toned down girls clothes out in public most days but I wish I could wear more girly tops and skirts and leggings. If my partner likes me dressing this way, I will go out and put a bit more often like this. Also a small colloquial town is not always conducive to this sort of thing.’
Ciara

‘The clothes feel right. I’ve always felt more at ease in a dress than a suit and tie. Major milestone events in life were difficult, the thought of seeing all the girls in my graduating class in their prom dresses when I couldn’t wear one was enough to keep me from going to prom. My wedding day, watching my wife walk down the aisle, glowing and beautiful in her gown, when I wanted to experience that as well but I would have settled for bridal lingerie under my suit. Work events, Christmas partys, etc. any event that requires dressing up has been avoided because it reminds me how desperate I am to wear a dress but instead society requires me to wear menswear.’
Samantha

‘I live somewhere with a small population and I’m old enough to still feel a little guilty for my feelings and wants in that regards. However the feeling of being dressed in beautiful and pretty clothes (very rare now) and seeing others dressed in stunning dresses and exquisite lingerie, that is something to behold and to experience. My main thoughts are, women are so lucky’
Nikki

‘i lived for 3 years as a woman, around 2002-2005. had my coming outs with all my friends and parents. i was not on hrt. it was both beautiful and relaxing. post 2005 things went bad. i met up a girl that convinced me to stop dressing. left her, married my wife and had my daughter. and now i’m starting again the transition’
Ilaria Argento @la.ila_feels

‘I’m not really sure I would call it crossdressing, though maybe. I wear skirts 24/7/365; not for any sort of sexual feelings or self gratification, but because of other reasons. Just as I have switched to women’s underwear as it is far superior to men’s for the reasons I have.’
Samantha

‘I liked what the women wore. Enough so that I wonderd what wearing it would feel like. And I very much enjoyed it. Both for the feeling of wearing it. And knowing it was something that was just so naughty was part of the thrill. Actually getting seen was devastatingly embarrassing. But liberating having it be known.’
D

‘I become aroused at the thought and act of crossdressing. They’re not much as a man to dress up with, whereas there’s so many options for women’s lingerie, it’s always exciting and new. I love watching sissy JOIs while crossdressing.’
Ziva

‘It’s the feeling of taboo and risk of being caught. Women’s lingerie and panties especially have so many cute designs and fabrics that men never had and it’s such a sexy feeling whenever I wear them especially when my partner knows and particularly enjoys it and picks it out for me to wear.’
Victoria Fox @Lingerieandfoxtails

‘Crossdressing is more comfortable for me than regular clothes because it fits who I am rather than some masculine role I normally play. Unfortunately, I still have to dress normally for work and other things.’
Mikayla @mikayla_in_tights

‘It’s really very close whether it’s more for sexual arousal or because I enjoy feeling like a woman so much. But if I’m honest, it’s more for arousal. I think at first, it was more about satin slips and pantyhose and how they felt more than that those items are “feminine”. I think that fetish for slippery texture became intertwined with feminine clothes and crossdressing and wanting to look and feel like a woman and eventually with realizing that I’m also attracted to men.’
Ashley Again @ashleyagain89

‘It allows me to be fun and confident. I get to release this other side of me that gets pent up with school, work, being a father and husband. Life is really full and capitalism really has a stranglehold on any “free time,” I could be having fun with’
Roxxii

‘I’ve always wanted the feeling I’ve wearing womans clothes since I was young. And I had a bi session for the first time a year ago, it was amazing, I got to suck a real cock and then have him fuck my Sissy pussy, I love the feel. I’m married and sometimes where my sexy slips to bed. During the day, I wear sexy g/strings’
Alice

‘First off, all my underwear now is girly. I live in a city where crossdressing is frowned upon and so doing just that is kinda nerve-racking most times. But thats a part of me, i wouldn’t know what to do if i couldn’t atleast be me within for extended periods. That said i have never had the courage to fully dress outside, a large part of it being i havent found a place where i can do it freely. And my budget doesn’t allow me trips abroad.’
Coco

‘I enjoy experiencing feminine things and experiences My first sexual experience involved my gf asking ke to wear her panties back in HS. I wore them with her to dinner with her parents. She kept me aroused’
Lacey
