As you may know, or may not know, this is the second deep dive crossdresser survey that I have undertaken, the first being a year ago (and you can see the results and analysis from that survey HERE).
As with this first survey, there are some caveats.
First, I am no data analyst, nor am I qualified to draw conclusions from the data. I am however, a gurlie like you, and so know a little bit about it. Forgive me then, if I bring some of my unconscious bias along for the ride.
Second, my community, language and even the questioning, I believe, speak more to older gurls than the younger ones who seem to identify more with trans communities.
So the data is skewed to the millennials groups over this age. It’s dominated by GenXer’s.
I did repeat some questions from the last survey too, like age, where you are from etc., just to get a clear image of the group taking this second survey.
This time, I wanted to ask a few specific questions (more on that in the analysis) and also to lean way more into fantasy. I wanted to lift up your skirt and have a peek inside your panties, you naughty little minx. And I can tell you, some people welcomed that rather delicious voyeuristic probing as they shared with me all their wicked dreams, desires, sometimes even needs.

Footnote: I have decided to leave the survey open too and may update results as new data comes in.
The total number of gurls who took the survey is 326, representing 35 different countries. There’s a strong concentration in English-speaking countries (United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia) which together account for about 68.3% of all entries, which is more about my reach and readership than anything else. Though it is lovely to see so many far flung places I have only ever heard of. We areally are global gurlies.
Where In The World?
And your gurl name?
Turns out we have a very diverse pool of names, with only a handful being used more than once. Drum roll please!
Joint first place is Chloe and Jessica (7 times each), then Michelle (6 times), Samantha and Alice (5 times each) and in the rear (ahem), Amber, Mary and Amanda with four and after that, we diversify into hundreds of names.
Into What Generation Were You Born?
Similarly to the previous survey I conducted, the questions, my community, and even the use of the phrase “crossdresser” as opposed to “trans” leads us to an older demographic.
As a result, the majority of the people who took this survey belong to the millenial and post millenial generations. My feeling is that younger generations have greater freedoms and are happy to explore them under the banner of trans, unlike my generation that seems to have locked away these feelings and explored way more in private. Thus their day to day identity is not that of a trans woman, but that of a heterosexual man, with a kink. Nothing wrong with this gurls, just the impact of changing and generational societal norms. I remain a slut in heels in the bedroom, as I hope you do too.
How do you identify your femme side?
This part of the survey also supports the findings from the last question.
A very large majority of the girls who took the survey identify as an occasional or regular crossdressers. With just over 20% identifying as sissies.
The remainder are either trans or wanting to transition, or not fully transitioned, with a small group of others at 3%, and a very small group of admirers.
This smaller group of ‘trans’ in the survey I feel reflects the older demographic who represent the vast majority of girls who answered the call to answer ‘crosssdresser’ questions. It’s a biased phrasing that I suspect produces a distorted answer. Bottom line, the survey seems to have been taken more readily by people who identify as crossdressers rather than trans.
I identify with this result quite strongly as I consider myself a regular cross-dresser and not stricly trans. Though… watch this space!
I may well run another survey soon and retool the questions as ‘trans’ questions. I am sure we will get very different results.
Who Were You Closest To When Growing Up?
After doing some research, the results of the question “who were you closest to while growing up” seemed to very much track national and international trends. Most children appear to be closer to their mother, with fathers coming in at 10-20%. This was a surprise to me, as I had assumed that most gurls would be closer to our mothers – I mean it is a logical leap? But it doesn’t seem that we have any differences between what we do and the rest of the world seems to do.
I was closer to my mother than my father, and that gave me access to femininity, which was something that I deeply craved. My mother was also slightly mentally unwell, and I suspect this also played a part in my psychological and sexual development. More on that in my book when published.

Part 3: Colours, Textures, Materials and Clothing… Oh my!
Nothing gets me hotter than black nylons on freshly shaved legs, or satin being caressed along my legs in nylons, or black patent heels, red calf length boots, lace trims, and fabrics that stretch and cling to my body sensually, erotically and femininely. For me, it’s all about the material, the colors, the textures, and the femminine clothing.
Part 4: Who Would You Love To Spend Intimate Time With?
Let me be clear, I firmly believe that we are all on a sexual spectrum. And that we can move along that spectrum. Sometimes slightly. Sometimes dramatically.
Part 5: Why, When And Is It Enough?
We do seem split kind of down the middle. Most of us finding sexual pleasure from dressing up, the rest because if makes us feel more feminine. It’s important to remember that the survey is skewed to an older demographic too. I suspect this indicates that for Millennials and older, dressing up was socially steered into being a kink in decades past, where now I suspect it would be explored more as an identity.
Part 6: My First Orgasm En Femme
I was twelve or thirteen and it was the start of the summer holidays. And this specific summer break would be the time when I got to fully explore my feminine, sensual and erotic self. I don’t recall if I was dressed for my first orgasm, but I do know that I dressed as much as I could that summer, and always managed to play with myself and bring myself to earth shattering orgasms.

Part 8: Fantasy time, when wishes DO come true!
I don’t mind admitting it. I was very young when I first had fantasies about having a fairy godmother show up and turn me into a gorgeous girl. If that happened, I could wear pretty frilly dresses, stockings, high heels, make-up, and jewelry every day, feeling confident that I would be accepted everywhere I went.
Part 9: What Advice Would We Offer Our Younger Self?
This final question is perhaps the most important. If we could trun back time, what would we do differently? There we some wildcards, like ‘Buy bitcoin’, but almost all responses were saying the same thing as Daisy, ‘Follow your femme dreams and don’t push your feminine energy away. Find your community and you will be more free than you can imagine.’
Part 10: Conclusions
And in conclusion…I saved one question for the end as it may be important, or maybe irrelevant. In my industry (creative industries), I noticed many of us have ADHD, which seems to put me, and others, at some odds with neurotypical people.I then wondered if that had any bearing on my inner femme, my kink, my girlie self? So I asked in the survey…
